This isn’t a walk in the part for anyone looking at this comment. You have to put in the work and meal prep. No processed food.
You cant be serious. Lol
20 minutes to steam 3 or 4 days worth of veggies, 25 min to cook chicken/fish on a BBQ.
No one is so busy they can’t cook and pack meals. They are just being lazy.
Vegetables and lean protein are probably the best.
Biggest thing is plan ahead in preparing your meals.
I figure if I eat as if I am diabetic, I’ll never become diabetic.

I had diagnosed with diabetes a few years ago . I look my doctor in the eye and told him . I’m gonna beat this . His body language says good luck with that or whatever . I was very confident that I could beat this disease. I got me a blender and I juice okras , spinach, kale , beet root , cucumber, ripe banana, peanut. I did this every day , until my numbers are perfect . I had to call my doctor to get my results after my annual test .if your numbers are bad they call u immediately .

Since going on the Keto diet my blood sugar is 87 every morning. My A1C was 6.0 (pre-diabetic) before I started the diet, A1C 5.3 after 5 months of the diet (8 months in now). I have also lost 102 pounds.

Very value information, my mother had a stroke 9 months ago and we also know now that she has type 2 diabetes. I have been slowly changing her diet for her, adding in the foods you’ve mentioned and eliminating foods she was eating. She’s feeling a lot better and her bloods are regulating. Thank you

@Gina Guzman that’s just symptom control. At some point your liver has no glycogen and you hardly eat any carbs. Eat some carbs, like beans or chickpeas, and your sugar will be just as high again. I’m having DM 2 as well. Don’t get me wrong, but I think that you know what I mean.
