I just saw eye Dr i too complained of glare, at nite. Dr said it was from the cataracts i m developing, especially the puckering of the Macular. That and other cataracts treated by laser surgery. Can try putting anti glare coatings on Rx glasses if you wear them. Hope that helps you.
If one is at the starting stage of this disease what preventions should be taken to reverse this?
Keep the blood sugar under control so it doesn’t start nor get any worse.
Unfortunately its an irreversible condition, all that can be done is to slow the progression of the disease

Thank you for this information the spots on the screen and dark patches are similar to what I’m getting in my right eye started a week ago, but instead of dark patches, mine look like black floating blood vessels and sometimes they turn red temporarily. Just made an appointment with my general doctor and I hope I can see a specialist very soon. Again thank you this helps a lot
I had the same problem. Is there any cure to this or food to eat to get rid of these floaters.

Juan Martín FerZónHi Juan, yes I did and was referred to an ophthalmologist and after eye exam he said I have a hemorrhage in my eye and blood leaking from blood vessels and that the fogginess and cobweb like things in my site are from the blood, and said I have Retinal Detachment. I will have to do surgery for what I was told to clear out the blood and fix the detachment. I am a diabetic. By all means this is my situation so I can’t speak for anyone nor would I because I’m definitely not a doctor but this is what I was told and what I will be going through to fix the problem for my circumstance. Um…why not stop eating meat and dairy? There’s overwhelming evidence that a healthy plant-based diet reverses type 2 diabetes. But feel free to go blind if you just can’t break the addiction to the taste of animal body parts.

the high glucose level reduces the amount of NO, which is a vasodilator. Without this the vessels cannot relax and causes hypertension and vessel damage.
