I’m blown away, thank you SO much for taking the time to post videos like this one you are incredible, as a new grad THIS is how i needed to hear things
This helped me tremendously during this quarantine time we are going through. Clinicals are suspended and now we are stuck doing virtual work. Thank you so much!
This is the best case study I have ever seen and explained. You are absolutely wonderful! From a renal nurse?
Even though I’m a second year ADN student I gained so much from this video. Found out about you as your Think Like a Nurse text is required for Med Surg 1 and saw it on the shelf for the year one students. Bought it anyway. You earned my sub sir.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks so much, and I hope you can give more like this examples please!
Soo wonderful video for learning purposes not only for nurses… I’ve benefited alot in my first year emergency medicine class
I need help
Thank you so much for letting me know!
F’ing amazing!!
I love these case studies especially in our present times. However, I live in Canada and our glucose results are not measured in the same. Where would I find information on how to convert to our scale so the students could use this to replace the clinical experience they are missing. The last clinical i was with them, we had 2 young patients admitted in DKA so this is very relevant to them.
I’m assuming that in Canada your blood sugar is in mmol/l, whereas in the USA it is measure in mg/dl. The conversion is mmol/L= mg/dl/18. So if in this video the sugar was 764 mg/dl then it would be 764/18=42.44 mmol/L.
This is great
Hello.. One doubt her sodium was low.. And she has dka.. Now we have to give lots of fluid in dka.. But aggresive fluid will correct sodium very fast which will lead to cerebral edema.. How much and what fluid to give.. Tia
I am sure this has GREAT information, however, the echo is terrible. Please fix so we can listen to your information. It sounds very helpful. 🙂
Nice job on having a extensive use of ABC’s. Karen
Love all your videos ??
