I don’t have the best insurance but after insurance paid their portion I paid somewhere around $300-$500 . I think there are different types of injections (depending on the severity of retinopathy) some are more expensive than others. I would highly suggest getting in to see a doctor they will give you better information. All the best to you!

Jenie Novicio hello, I’m by no means a doctor but I can speak from a patients point of view. I had the laser treatment 6 years ago and there was no pain or side effects. Just yesterday I had the needle injection treatment and it was painless just a few days of seeing some floaters and minor swelling around the eye, I’m hoping this helps my eye health in the long run.

James Matthew After getting the injection my vision has gotten a bit better and I had a follow up appointment. My doctor said I may need more injections in the future but I’m at the point where I can reverse the effects as long as I keep my a1c levels down and watch my diabetes.

Some postulate that Type II Diabetes is nothing more than the modern version of the old disease Berberi (very similar symptoms). A vitamin B1 Thiamine deficiency. Choline too.
Check out the Arginase/ Arginine (nitric oxide) relationship in the eye plus start to incorporate Superoxide Dismutase into your diet. The Glisodin® version of SOD is best for absorption.
